This album expresses the dreamy quality of the winter solstice, where the veil between this world and the otherworld thins. A natural seam appears to form a link between us and the otherworld. In earlier times we would become aware of crossing a great boundary as we shifted from one seasonal cycle (or year) to another. Kam, the great spirit of the sun disappears at this time, or dies - and we humans are left hoping he will return - or at least that is how it used to be for all tribal folk in earlier times. Winter solstice and its dreamy time is a most useful period to reflect on the old year while looking ahead to the new and what we might wish to achieve, leaving all that we don't need of the past behind us. This album of music is designed to propel us from death into birth, from the old into the new. Enter your wildest, your most wished for, your most longed for dreams as you listen to this music.
